High Mountain Green


This High Mountain Green tea is grown at an altitude of 1300 meters on Alishan Mountain. It is produced in the spring and has a heavy aroma. Normally the green oolong bitter, but due to fact that this tea has been grown in the high mountains, it is has more pectin and the leaves are thicker. Consequently, the taste is sweeter, which balances the slight bitterness nicely. The taste of this tea is very elegant and accessible

The leaves are handpicked and left in the sunshine to dry for thirty minutes. Inside they are tossed and set down repeatedly over many hours, a process known as withering. Afterwards the tea is fixated and rolled
